Bridgeport (32) responded to a reported building fire at 55 E. Front Street, Bridgeport Boro. Chief 32 arrived on scene reporting fire through the roof of a 150 x 100 single story warehouse. The second alarm was requested immediately and companies were ordered to lead off with their heaviest water lines. The LDH (large diameter hose) task force was requested, sending an additional 10 pumpers to the scene, including Pipeline 29. Pipeline 29 laid 800’ of 5” supply line in a water relay operation, with 700 drafting from the river. Pipeline 29 made themselves available after 8 hours of service.
